Dig, Dream, Drool
Jan 18
remember earlier this week when i was all, maybe i wanna cut my hair? yeah, i’ve moved on. lucky for me i have a stylist who gives it to me straight and reminded me that shorter hair, for me, means a lot more time. and that’s not at all feasible for me right now. i’ve fallen back in love with my naturally big, naturally wavy, naturally hard to control locks. while i know that most people wouldn’t strive for this bigger is better style, it really is all that i want and best of all it takes a total of 5 minutes to achieve – perfect for a busy mama. now, if only i could get it to grow another 3-5 inches. sorry mom.
i finished my book and i’m searching for something new. i’m craving fiction, or maybe a memoir – any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. something is funky with my ipad and i can’t get the latest issue of vanity fair to download. i’m a woman lost. please help.
alright, enough about me! i can’t believe it’s more than halfway through the month and this is the first d,d,d edition of the year. it’s been busy and i’ve fallen behind in my blog reading but have no fear, this is the best of the best from the last 3 weeks:
i do not need another crochet project, but, i’m loving on this blanket. i want to make my sister-in-law a blanket for her upcoming wedding. this pattern is in the running for sure
i loved EBN’s bright white with pops of color nursery. but, if we ever get to do the baby thing again, i think i’d go more in THIS direction
my home office remains dis.ASS.ter central – i would love to have the time, energy and drive to create something as organized as THIS
i’m thinking that if we ever renovate the downstairs and have a real playroom, i’m going to have to make EBN this little cardboard town (especially since we won’t be able to afford real furniture)
these paleo muffins are the to do list this weekend
THIS is by far the best thing to happen to me this week – there will never be another coach taylor. i have it bookmarked for when i need a little pick-me-up.
and finally…
i’m participating in a book swap (which is good because, as i mentioned above, i’m in need of a new read). i’ve been matched with JEN who emailed me today. after checking out her blog i’m pretty sure we’re a match made in heaven and i’m jazzed to head to the bookstore to pick out a special selection just for her.
have a great weekend
