Dig, Dream, Drool

Sep 14

it’s super cute – but the kid should keep dreaming. never.gonna.happen.

it’s been forever and a day since my last dig, dream, drool post so i apologize in advance if this edition is long winded.  i also apologize that some of the most drool worthy items (especially those that are food related) seem a bit better for late summer than early fall.  you live and you learn.

i’m itching to convert EBN’s crib to a toddler bed.  honestly, i really want to get her a big girl bed but i need to wait on that just a bit longer.  still, the idea of adding a DIY CREATION to her room makes me ready to put down my crochet hook and start cutting flowers

i would like to go thrifting and find THIS exact dress

next monday night for dinner, we’re having THIS soup – life is busy, you gotta plan in advance

we’re set for halloween this year, thank goodness for mama-to-wee-one hand-me-downs (plus a grandma who knows how to sew!) but i’m thinking THIS COSTUME would be fun to tackle for next year….or purim!

we love that we call THIS PLACE home

MELISSA’S POST sums up why i blog – completely

all of THESE RECIPES look yummy to me

in the bay area, beach season is just getting started which means i’m just in time to try these ROLL-UPS (although i’m sure they’d be tasty year-round)

personally, i’m still detoxing from this past weekend, but when i’m recovered, i can’t wait to make a BANANA FOSTER MILKSHAKE

anyone want to get me PHOTOSHOP for chanukah?

i have found that WHERE I RUN really makes a difference.  that being said, there’s been little running this week.  let’s blame an encounter with a rogue ping-pong racket.  my right foot is still a bit swollen and very bruised.  ask ABN about what happened.

one of these days i think i’ve gotta get my dad to do a guest post about REGISTRY DO’s AND DONT’S.  his tips are tried and true.

my mom makes  the world’s best taco salad.  one day i’ll share the recipe but until then, THIS looks yummy too

next week brings on the jewish new year – perfect way to KICK OFF the celebration

i know i keep teasing about big news, but you’ve gotta wait til monday.  it feels like a great way to mark the new year, in this space.  until then – our weekend is super full – the good kind of close-to-home-full: a friday night sushi date (we’re starting THE WIRE), a mothers club clothing swap on saturday and then crochet time and a holiday dinner on sunday.

xo,
