Before Noon

yesterday was not the best day.  we were full of sniffles and not good sleep and cranky pants and i’m not just talking about the wee one.  all of us.  but today, in an effort to start fresh, we started over.

EBN slept til 6:15 – a record for this week (it’s funny how perspective changes)

i brewed extra bold coffee

we watched ELMO LIKES THE POTTY – twice

i made eggs for breakfast for the whole family

EBN and i went for a quick run

did a little kiddo bedroom re-organization without really discussing it with ABN.  i mean, i might have mentioned it last night but i’m pretty sure it was more hypothetical and i’m also pretty sure he wasn’t so into the idea.  but whatever.  i think it’s way more toddler friendly.  i want her to be able to keep more of her low-key toys in her bedroom.  and easy access to her ever-growing book collection is essential

and i dressed her like this…it’s a new low really.  i could argue that the outfit was free and that this just proves that not all subscription boxes are created equal.  but really, it’s ridiculous.  we just aren’t a people built for a fitted drop waist.  you can tell, she’s doubting the choice herself.

now if i could just coax myself into taking a shower, the day would really be off to a good start.
