Caps for Sale

we’re back from the fastest 24 hours santa barbara has ever seen.  we squeezed in a ton of fun and so many special people that my cheeks may never recover from the amount of smiling that took place.

this little girl, the one pictured above, in the hat – have you ever seen anything cuter? – was very excited to get back.  as soon as we got off the highway she started saying, “home, home, home.”  we’re big on the repeating thing.  by 9:30pm on saturday night all three of us were sound asleep.  she spent sunday going for a run with mama – “more fast” – singing through her nap – “baa baa baa sheep” – hiking with daddy (see the video below), and enjoying her toys.  she also peed in her potty twice, and pooped in her potty once.  i’m trying really hard to not make a big deal out of it…i know this is going to be a process.  but omg i’m so freaking excited.  and proud.
