Pretty Things

i had planned to write my next STITCH FIX review, but that will have to wait until tomorrow (or later today?) because i can’t stop thinking about this:

what does it say about me, a married 31-year-old (and just so you know, i typed 41 and didn’t notice until i’d read through the post twice) that i’m drooling over MILEY’S RING?  (at least the link is from the huffington post).

i figure now is as good a time as any to catch you up on some of my latest pins…

i want a new couch like no one’s business but i have no business getting a new couch (we have an agreement that we have to be passed the children who spit up/draw on furniture/explosive poop before buying any forever furniture.  but i sorta think something like this might hold me over.  ABN is easily swayed with the promise of more bookshelves

am i a pho person?  unclear.  am i a person who wants to try making pho in a slow cooker?  damn straight!

i’m loving on the way this bedroom is styled.  ours is currently all white for the purpose of being able to layer and change later on (ABN might not be aware but…whatever).  now that my photo wall is in the final stages (check back next week for a step-by-i’ve-been-working-on-this-since-last-september-step break down of the process) it seems like a great time to start my next project.  clearly the first step is a crocheted bedspread…better finalize the pattern selection!

let’s all say it together: EBN’s big girl room!  which, we are a very long time from but, mamas should always day-dream (right?).  i think it’s time for me to start a new pinterest board for this express purpose.

and with that, i’ve gotta shave my legs jet.  EBN and i are headed further down the peninsula where the sun is brighter and the weather is warmer and that means shorts for both of us.  we’re meeting some mama/baby friends at a park with a water-feature (i’m not exactly sure what the means but i expect to bring home one very exhausted baby when it is all over).
